i haven’t posted recently..well..life was just way too much fun piling up all the stories that i adventured in different countries these months..then it’s kinda hard for me to find out the thread to lead you thru how i was doing lately..haha..you know..i did tweet or update my status from time to time..but mostly i felt guilty of grumbling too much right after updating something in public while being unemployed YET (why working ppl always remind me of that..peer pressure leh! -.-)..hehe..fine fine..so in order to start a new life..shall we just end the past first? =P well..after days of flights in a row..i went back to Boston to attend my commencement. *yippee* time to officially say goodbye to school..and thank you thank you, a big thank you to my dear parents, friends, profs, and MIT!

rent a kayak..paddle around e southern pacific alone..taz brilliant awesome
warm up by a bottle of local beer on e beach n ready to go..posed a bit along e coast..i was actually quite scared cause it’s really wavy n i didnt dare to take out my dslr fm e water-proof bag on e sea..but since it’s gonna b once in a life time..=.= i finally took it out..after hrs hard paddling, e little superman finally landed on e desert islands..=.=..i guess it’s more efficient to grow muscles in this way than hitting gym..nice photos are shown below n of course e result left my dslr filled w sand n sea water as well..T_T..btw..tell u a little secret..e little superman cannot swim..>.<..shy

just another day on e equator

normal as all the other usual goalless days, wake up at abt 11am by e bright sun glaring out of a clear blue sky. take a morning refreshing shower, grab a cup of soya milk w maple pecan flakes, n open e laptop to check e overnight tweets, fb, n emails. lingering around for abt an hour, i will check where to hv my lunch then.

today’s lunch special was ThaiExpress due to my missing of e mango sticky rice (Thai: Khao Niao Ma Muang). e flavor of fresh succulent iced mango n smooth coconut cream will come up to my throat once i think of the one i took at Mango Tango in Bangkok. Also, as one of e most well-known thai dishes, Phat Thai is for sure on e top of e list. I tried tt twice during my last trip to BKK. One was at a high-class bund pub w a nice river view and breeze blowing around. The second time was quite a rush at e BKK airport, but tt was still a nice shot. i ordered these two for e lunch. (didnt dare to order tom yam casue i would get totally blushed) well..i hv to say tt ThaiExpress really leaves much to be desired. =/ Phat Thai there was just around ok due to e sticky noodles. it was supposed to be drier, i guess they put too much water inside. what’s worse was their sticky rice. =( tt was really really out of my drooling expectations. sticky rice was pressed into pieces of thick blocks, while e mango was hot? n e coconut cream dressing tasted like powder water. not good not good. well but dun blame ThaiExpress too much lah. i guess it might be all because i just came bk fm bkk. e authentic tastes n thai flavors are still deeply engraved in my mind. =P

after e TWO-hr stuffing lunch, i went to sch finally. it’s abt 3pm ady. – - i redeemed my ice latte at mcd thanks to the overwhelming monopoly games in singapore these days. i guess i did gain weight during e last several weeks attributed to mcd as well. =( then i dropped by my office. however e sch wireless internet just kept rejecting me. i had no other choice but head home again w nothing done. a typical tropical afternoon again, e thunder storm washed off e hustle n bustle around e whole island. well..before let’s call it a day, guess what?..no way no way..kindle is at home waiting to meet my iPad. so let’s just take a group photo together then. =P

quick update for e last 2 months

top news:
little superman has officially graduated fm MIT! as part of MIT’s 150th anniversary events, i’m to attend e commencement on 3 Jun next yr! hv been waiting for this big big big day since forever! high five! congratulations alan!

travels:
just got bk fm bangkok last month. i’d award the title “city of sin” to bangkok to tk over las vegas. besides gambling, bangkok got almost everything n even more on e earth. of course, bkk might have some gambling underground albeit. but this is not e point. e paradise is always ready to provide all u hv been looking for n even some more out of ur expectations. thai food is e first thing tt u must try during e trip. fm different kinds of curry to tropical fruits, fm patai to sticky rice, n fm tom yam to thai ice tea, i promise tt thai delicacies will stuff ur mouth n puff ur paunch up! haha shows for sure u cannot miss them also! well im not talking abt magic shows or concerts like vegas..- – i’m referring to these ladyboys’ shows in hotels. dun think dirty k?..they are legal in thailand n very decent k! but of course, if u wanna go a little bit wild, thai girl shows, thai boy shows, n ping pang shows are right on e downtown streets also! i think u can easily find them out right?..haha well..bk to e topic, bkk is also famous for it’s countless temples n massage lah! i wont elaborate more here, u’d better adventure e city by urself k? i ensure u will hv fun in this country of smile!

coming up:
i guess u’ve known ady. i’m to receive my second master degree soon at e end of this yr. so up coming 2011 will b my official jobless yr, at least before e chinese new year. So i’m planning to travel again. this time i’ll go somewhere to stay abt one to two months. i regard this as once in a lifetime, so try something different to escape fm hustle n bustle of cities. is that a hint?..well hahaha i guess u’ll know where i’m going very soon lah! haha so do check my blog fm time to time k? hv a nice thanksgiving holiday ahead guys!

getting used to e frequent unnoticed sudden changes in e live space, i’m always ready to deal w that. but this time..gosh..live space totally give up its customers. i’ve been writing e blog for almost 6 yrs in a row. e only reason supporting me not to change to other fancy domains is tt it’s one of e very first blog i hv, n so much time i’ve spent in it ady. haizzz ok ok ok enough, stop murmuring..e good news is tt finally now as a mac user, e only connection i hv w e microsoft is msn. if one day it migrates to iChat…
